Moving the contents of your home can be stressful, but we’re here to help make it easier. Take advantage of our free move-in truck, ute or trailer hire, available for first-time use on move-in and drivable with a standard car licence (conditions apply). Please note that vehicle availability may vary by location—contact your local facility for details.
To make your move even smoother, our truck is equipped with a hydraulic tail lift and comes with complimentary use of furniture blankets, tie-downs, and a fridge trolley.
Free Move-in Truck or Ute Hire* Pick Up & Drop Off Times:
Mon to Fri: 8am – 4.30pm
Sat: 8am – 4pm
Sun: 10am – 4pm
The allocated time includes picking up the truck, driving to your location, loading your items, returning to our facility, and unloading. All items must be unloaded before the scheduled drop-off time. Fuel and insurance excess charges may apply.
Tips to make the most of your Free Truck or Ute Hire time.
- Be prepared: Position as many items as possible close to where the vehicle will be parked to speed up loading.
- Get help: The more hands, the easier the move—invite friends or family to assist.
- Pack smart: Use boxes wherever possible. Square and stackable items make loading quicker and more efficient.
- Prioritise large items: Load bulky furniture and appliances first to maximise truck space. Smaller items can be transported later in your car.
Other Conditions
- A minimum 2 months storage is required for this free service.
- Free Truck or Ute Hire is available for new move in’s only and drivers must be over 25 years of age.
- Sydney Metro use only. Truck is to be returned clean with a full tank of fuel or charges apply.
- Insurance excess payable in the event of damage.
- All tolls to be paid by the customer. Please speak to staff for further details.
