Car storage facilities across all our sites
At Hills Self Storage we offer more options for car storage than any other company in the Hills area. Within our facilities we can provide a solution for those that are away for work or travel, car collectors, car dealers, car investors, or even those that need a secure space to park work vehicles.
Options include individual driveway units, our dedicated car warehouse, 20 foot storage containers, and external parking. Terms are available on a short or long term basis, and access will vary from site to site. Why not call us and let us help you find the solution that fits your specific requirements.
Shipping containers for car storage
Fully reconditioned, weatherproof shipping containers will comfortably fit cars. We also have a container ramp making driving the car in and out of the container easy. They are secured with your own padlock and you keep the keys.
Self storage units with driveway access
Across all our sites Hills Storage have driveway accessible storage units suitable for car storage. These premium access units offer the simplicity of drive up access, 24/7 access at Castle Hill and Rouse Hill, with Galston being 5am to 10pm. All units are individually alarmed, access to the sites is via PIN code and all sites are under 24/7 camera surveillance to ensure the security of your vehicle.
Secure external parking
Need a space to park your car or truck? Available at Galston, Rouse Hill, and Castle Hill, we have external uncovered parking spots available within our secure yards. Access is 7 days per week via a pin security gate and depending on the site will be either 24/7 or 5am -10pm acccess times.
Dedicated car warehouse
To protect those special vehicles that are only used occassionally we have an enclosed warehouse at our Galston facility that is dedicated to car storage. Located within our security yard that is accessed by pin code, our car warehouse is alarmed with back to base monitoring, and under constant camera surviellance. To protect the cars from dust, we supply and fit covers for each vehicle and the option is available to have a trickle charger fitted to keep the battery fresh.

What can't I put into storage?
You can store almost anything you want. The only exceptions are – Hazardous and Flammable Materials, Lithium batteries, Illegal or Stolen Goods, Firearms or Explosives, Perishables or Organic Material.
Can I transfer to another space if I find out that the one I am in does not suit my needs?
Yes you can and your monthly unit rental amount will be altered to suit the size you move into.
What is the minimum time I can store with you?
1 day but we generally have a minimum charge of 1 month rent. We may reduce the minimum charge in certain circumstances. Please contact us for further information.
Can someone else access my space?
Only with written authority from the account holder will we allow someone else to access your space, so long as they also have a key.
How do I get my things to you?
You can bring them down yourself in your own vehicle, borrow our free trailer or use our Free Move-in Ute or Truck*. Alternatively, we can recommend quality and reliable local removalists to help you with your move.
Are there any extra costs?
The price you are quoted includes your storage charges and GST. You will need a padlock to secure your unit. For insurance, you may already have a home contents policy that will cover you whilst in storage. Let your insurance company know that you are storing with us and you should be covered. If not, we offer new for old protection at extremely competitive rates through StoreProtect.
How can I pay?
You can pay with Cash, Cheque, Master Card, Visa, EFTPOS, B-pay and Direct Credit. Payments can also be made in person, over the phone, via our website or by post.
